Drum Workshops

For our Drum Workshops, I will go to you and will have all the materials ready to assemble a drum. We can do any size handrum or a large Pow Wow Drum. I provide all the materials and tools necessary. At the end of the workshop, all that will be needed is for the drum(s) to dry.

I have facilitated workshops to First Nations throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC. I have also facilitated workshop for many of the students at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, Saskatoon Tribal Council, Saskatoon Correctional Center and Saskatchewan Regional Phsychiatric Center. 

At the workshops, we talk about the importance of our drum in our ceremonies and celebrations. I understand that each communities have their own protocols and our talks are generic and I always encourage the participants to seek out the community Elders for their guidance.

My workshops are, approximately, 3 hrs in length or until every participant has completed their drum. I ensure that they will have a drum that will be functional and will sound nice at the end of the workshop.
